The "No Walls" FenceWalker Maze

This maze was added in 2007 to replace an existing maze. To begin, reading the story is a must. It tells the tale of Luke Fencewalker, a young lad with big dreams and a great sense of balance. But, there are those around him that would just as well see him 'fall' short of his ambitions. When you visit be sure to see how the story turns out and enjoy a one-of-a-kind maze.

Billy Joe & Jim Bob's 2 Barn Maze

As the story goes, Billy Joe and Jim, two cousins that grew up next door to one another were inseparable. They liked to hunt, fish, play in the dirt and more than anything else--hide from their parents.  After becoming men, they continued to live next to one another with their families.  But due to 'honey-do' projects and nosey neighbors, their fun time was challenged.  So, to rectify the situation, Billy Joe and Jim Bob created a secret confusing pathway between two of their barns so that those that might follow, wouldn't find them.

Though their carpentry skills leave a lot to be desired, this maze is the fruit of their well- intended but less than successful efforts.

"No Sense" Fence Maze

Miss Lotta Grumbling was an old, mean lady who didn't care much for her neighbors, their pets, or their kids.  All she cared about was here yard.  Ironically, the neighborhood animals and children felt the same.  They would constantly find their way onto her premises to play tag, hide and seek, and anything else they could think up.  Inevitably, Miss Grumbling would come outside and chase them off, saying, "It makes no sense to play in my yard - no sense!  Go home!"  Lotta got tired of the same speech day after day so she erected a fence, hoping it would bring satisfaction,.  But kids being kids, they would find ways around the fence.  So Lotta being Lotta, she put up more fence...and more fence...and more fence, trying her best to keep everyone and everything out.  Pretty soon her entire yard was filled with fencing.  Thinking this would be the end of all the playing in her yard, Miss Grumbling looked out her window to see the children winding their way through all of her fences like a maze, laughing and playing as they went.  All Lotta could do was to shake her head and say, "It just makes no sense."

This maze may make no sense to Miss Grumbling but it will make for a lot of fun for anyone who chooses to visit the Country Bumpkin.

Pert-n-near 'mpossible Wooden Maze

Impossible?  Pert-n-near!  The maze walls stretch up to eight feet high so there's no looking over for help.  With no ceiling, don't look for the birds over head as a landmark--  this maze lives up to its billing and you can only find it at the Country Bumpkin!

The Survivor Challenge Maze

Are you up for a maze like no other?  The Country Bumpkin is the place for you!  The Survivor challenge corn maze starts the maze-goer with somethin' to read and memorize.  As the participant winds through the maze, they will have to try and recall parts of the story to find the correct path to successfully navigate the maze. The challenge can come from trying to get all the questions right or by challenging a friend to see who can do it better.  Either way, this maze is one that can't be missed!
