Our Mission

The Country Bumpkin Pumpkin Patch's mission is to provide a family-friendly fun time for everyone that visits, which includes keeping the customer's cost low and quality experience's high.

Our hope is to make the fall season a positive and memorable experience that kids, young and old, will be able to look back favorably and tell others that they had a 'hillbilly good time'!

Our Humble Beginin's

In 1997, the Country Bumpkin Pumpkin Patch started through the dreams and efforts of Cathy Brimner. After purchasing 40 acres that included several barns, Cathy convinced her husband, Thad, to venture out to create a pumpkin patch. With little experience but with great desire, the Country Bumpkin was born. A small corn field maze, the 2 barn maze and an early version of Hillbilly Golf greeted visitors that first year. Trial and error has proved to be helpful in the maturing of the pumpkin patch and as the Country Bumpkin grew, Thad and Cathy's vision grew. Through sweat, tears, prayer and determination, the Country Bumpkin Pumpkin Patch has grown into several more mazes, games, rides and attractions. But most of all, it has continued to be a place where parents and grandparents can take their kids to enjoy all of the fun of fall and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Before You Visit, Remember:

We do not allow food or drink to be brought on premises. (We have the Boonedock Cafe to supply all of your eatin' & drinkin' needs.)

Climbing or walking on straw bales is prohibited.

Please stay on pathways of all mazes. Do not attempt to 'create' your own path--it destroys our maze and the experience of those who come after you.

Bring a flashlight--some mazes are dark. (If you forget and need one, they are available in the Hillbilly Gift Shop.)

If you are coming to enjoy the Live Music Days, be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket. (Seating is limited.)

You are allowed to bring dogs if they are leashed and behaved. Be prepared to clean up behind them, please.

No smoking is allowed inside the grounds due to the fire hazard. The parking lot is the designated smoking area.

We respect you as our guests so please respect our efforts to create a fun environment by abiding by our requests.

Thank You!
